Education changes what survivors can do next.
We provide scholarships, bursaries, and direct grants to survivors of sex trafficking pursuing post-secondary education, and to the NGOs supporting them.
About us
A long-term commitment to survivors who choose to keep going.
Mission
To provide long-term and residual financial aid to survivors of sex trafficking attending post-secondary educational programs, and to fund NGOs that support survivors through educational programming.
Purpose
To save the lives of survivors of sex trafficking by providing the financial means they need during the transition between the trauma of trafficking and educational empowerment.
What we do
Four pathways to meaningful support.
From direct scholarships to organizational funding, our programs meet survivors and the people supporting them at the points where money makes the biggest difference.

Built by a survivor, for survivors.
Vanessa Tynes founded Survivors Unleashed International as a survivor of domestic sex trafficking. She knows first-hand the experiences other survivors face, and the unimaginable trauma victims carry forward.
The youth targeted by traffickers are almost always taken advantage of because of their economic circumstances. SUI extends a direct hand to survivors enrolled in secondary and post-secondary educational programs, helping them rebuild and empower themselves.
In the ten years after her escape, Vanessa attended high school, university, and then law school. It is her mission to provide that same long-term help to others.
Vanessa speaks publicly about human trafficking, survivor recovery, and educational empowerment. All speaking fees are donated directly to Survivors Unleashed International. Booking inquiries can be made through the contact form below.
